Brand strategist and out of the box thinking with a background in quality assurance and auditing, for Sara, a quality brand starts with strategy. She brings direction for clients by ensuring they have a solid strategy to grow their business and communicate with their current and potential clients. Sara holds a wealth of experience in the corporate world and is now a lead auditor for quality management systems a member of the Australian Organisation for Quality. She says quality branding is about establishing proof that you are who you say, an authority in your field and deliver a product or service second to none.
Lawyer turned journalist, Anthony Biancotti is an internationally renowned media advisor, speechwriter and business communications consultant. Anthony is passionate about leadership and passing on his knowledge by tutoring and guest lecturing at The University of Queensland. Anthony creatively combines a wide range of skills, experience, and expertise to help clients boost awareness, achieve strategic objectives, and attract, connect with, and persuade their audiences. Anthony works in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region helping improve cross-cultural communication between Western and Asian business cultures, having worked as a cross-cultural communications consultant for Apple. Anthony’s wealth of experience enables him to advise executives and organisation’s on crisis and reputation management, helping them respond calmly and confidently during their eleventh hour. Furthermore, Anthony works as a Chief Engagement Officer for multiple boutique law firms and is a commentator on the communication effectiveness of political and business leaders.

Nadine McGrath is the founder and director of McGrath Media and its division Creative Content Co. Nadine has extensive experience in journalism, public relations and content marketing. Nadine has worked for WIN Television, News Ltd. Australian Associated Press and is a trusted media advisor. Nadine has reported on natural disasters, crime, health, politics, sports, education, business and financial markets. She’s interviewed local farmers to business leaders, royalty and prime ministers. Nadine’s mission is to help clients rise to impact by standing above the age of information overload and reinvigorate storytelling to truly connect and engage with audiences. As a member of both the MEAA and PRIA, she upholds a commitment to producing factual quality content which informs, entertains or is educational. Nadine passes on her media skills by training executives and is a seasoned keynote speaker, MC and has featured on panel discussions.
John Briggs is a proud Member of the Yorta Yorta and Gunnai nations in south-eastern Australia, I provide expertise, consultancy and solutions around Indigenous engagement and inclusion. Through keynote and speaking events, workshops, training, facilitation or personal specialist guidance, Johnny delivers cultural competency and awareness sessions, workshops and presentations with a focus on workplace reconciliation. Johnny takes a simple approach to uncovering Indigenous culture in an Australian context. A German native, Tim Tettenborn is the director and founder of MindCom, an organisation that teaches Tim’s mindful communication method that improves all levels of interpersonal communication skills to enhance influence and human behaviour.
Tim elevates corporate executives, SME businesses and teams with his Mindful Communication method, having worked with the likes of Shell and Westpac. Tim has dedicated his career to developing the personal and professional growth of leaders and has received wide-spread recognition for his work.
Pushpa Vaghela is an award-winning leadership coach, mentoring leaders across corporate, government, educational and entrepreneurship environments. Pushpa has a background in accounting, business, trade and project management and is an accredited clinical psychologist. With more than 30 years of experience in psychology, Pushpa helps leaders implement effective solutions to complex issues and people dynamics.
Pushpa teaches mindfulness, meditation, yoga and the ‘quantum self’, helping modern leaders incorporate ancient techniques to strengthen their leadership. Giorgia Butler is the head of Strategy & Innovation at Nunn Media, Australia’s largest independently owned media firm. She is an award-winning strategist who successfully leapt from creative and communications into the media space.

Liz Kearnis is a passionate advocate of values-based leadership to foster organisational cultures that inspire people to bring their best and drive superior performance. An experienced executive, Liz has led organisation culture transformation programs that engage leaders and employees to establish and execute a shared vision. Liz is the current Change and Culture program director at McDonald Inc. With a wealth of expertise in project management, Liz’s strength lies in her ability to engage internally and stakeholders. Jacinta Schofield is a communications intern at The Leadership Review and Kay by Design. Currently studying at The University of Queensland, Jacinta brings both economic and public relations views forward, allowing her to understand stakeholder needs extensively. Although a younger figure on the editorial team, Jacinta’s business brain is geared towards solutioning issues to make them economically feasible. Furthermore, she is passionate about creating partnerships between organisations doing social good, the media and business to help raise their profiles.
Rosie Dann is a communications intern at The Leadership Review and Kay by Design. Currently studying at The University of Queensland, Rosie is educated in both the public relations and journalism fields, equipping her to adapt and write for any type of client. Her youthful energy brings a refreshing aspect to The Leadership Reviews editorial team. Rosie is experienced with contemporary media and technology, using it extensively throughout her studies and everyday life. Rosie religiously follows her mentors advice to publish ethical and quality communication and journalism.
Yasmin Grigaliunas is the CEO and founder of the World’s Biggest Garage Sale, a social enterprise organisation that designs solutions to commercialise the circular economy. Yasmin is a business professional, she has experience in business development, HR and project management, along with achieving a successful career as an intrapreneur and entrepreneur. Creating a multi-million dollar sales department from the ground up is a proud achievement of Yasmin’s, as well as co-founding TWBGS, which positively impacted the global economy and environment. She prides herself on striving for excellence and being productive anywhere and anytime. Following her mantra, “make a difference and create meaningful impact daily”, Yasmin is passionate about people and giving to help others.
Dr Rebecca Jackson is Director, Principal Psychologist and Strategic Leadership Coach with the Jackson Company Pty Ltd, focusing on emotionally intelligent and authentic leadership, executive development coaching, team coaching, small group coaching. Leader wellness and Mental Health. Dr Bec is a sought-after c-suite coach and keynote speaker on the interplay between psychology, leadership, wellness, personal and professional development. Dr Bec is an experienced Psychologist of 20 years, bridging private and public sector within Forensic, Organisational and Clinical Roles. She has a BA (Hons) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Sam White-Downie is the head designer for The Leadership Review, responsible for visually encapsulating the magazine’s values and audience. Merging his passion for design and all things creative, Sam studied a Bachelor of Communication Design and Diploma of Graphic Design at the esteemed Billy Blue College of Design. He not only refined his technical skills and understanding of the design process but also enhanced his ability to truly encapsulate the essence of a client and how to visually communicate key messaging to a target audience. Sam now works as a head graphic designer at Kay by Design. He excels in problem-solving and has an eye for spotting the potential in brands, then visually elevating them into a new calibre of design. Sam believes a strong design and striking visual brand presence can elevate a business from mediocre to memorable, eliciting emotions followed by actions and ultimately setting the tone of your business.
Renato Frias is the lead web developer and designer at The Leadership Review and its publishing company Kay by Design. Renato is multilingual, fluent in Portuguese, English and computer code. His love of numbers combined with a creative flair saw him delve into the world of web development. Renato is Brazilian with a background in mechatronics engineering. Shifting from the more structured nature of engineering design, he developed a keen interest in creative design when he moved to Australia. He has completed a Bachelor of Digital Media Interaction Design at the esteemed Billy Blue College of Design in Brisbane.
In his current role as a lead web developer at Kay by Design, Renato specialises in creating clean, simple and functional corporate websites. Here, he develops original websites that solidify a business’s presence in the digital world to stand proudly beside the corporate giants, including The Leadership Review.
Natasha ‘Tash’ Simspon is a graphic designer at The Leadership Review and Kay by Design. For Tash, the clever out-of-the-box design is what sets businesses and brands aside from competitors. The design should represent who they are, what they stand for and their story.
Tash took her passion for storytelling through design and pursued it through a Bachelor of Communication Design and a Diploma of Graphic Design at the Billy Blue College of Design. As a head designer for multiple clients at Kay by Design, Tash excels at taking a client’s brief and their unique point of difference then personifying their brand into meaningful design.
To Tash, brand longevity is paramount. Paired with her exceptional technical skills, she prioritizes creating versatile designs that will stand the test of time and are transferable across multiple brand mediums.
Lachlan Collis is a lead User-experience (UX) designer and graphic designer at The Leadership Review. Lachlan works closely with web-developer Renato, working towards creating more user-friendly a memorable digital experience when using websites and apps. Lachlan’s skillset helps breathe life into a business online presence by building engaging and interactive websites that entice users and leave them with a positive lasting impression. Lachlan puts the human element back into technology and works to create relevant and meaningful user-experiences. Currently undertaking an Associate degree in UX design and has completed a Diploma of Graphic Design at the Billy Blue College of Design, Lachlan merges design and tech principles to help our C-Suite’s reader experience at The Leadership Review.
